How to use Deflecto's Craft Magnetic Sheets

Hello, everyone!!  Kymona from Kreative Kymona here today to show you how to use Deflecto's Craft Magnetic Sheets.

What are Deflecto's Craft Magnetic Sheets?

Deflecto's Craft Magnetic Sheets are:
- White
- 8" x 15" in size
- Can be painted or papered
- They cut super easy with scissors, a craft knife,
punches and a variety of cutting machines.
-  They come in a pack of 3 or 10 sheets.

Let's Take a Look:

Now Let's Take a Look at What You Can Create:

Here's How I Created This Tray:

I collected all the supplies that I needed to create this tray:

Warm and Cozy Pattern Paper
Craft Fantastic Glass pieces
Tombow Tape Runner
Wilson Cookie Sheet

To start, measure the cookie sheet so that the pattern paper can be cut to that size.

Cut the pattern paper and the magnetic sheet to 12 x 7.

Add adhesive to the back of the pattern paper using  Tombow Permanent Adhesive Plus.  Once that is done, adhere the paper onto the magnetic sheet.

Once that is done, adhere the paper onto the magnetic sheet.

Place the large mat inside the tray.

Once that is done, create sentiment magnetics and place them on the tray.

For the magnetic notepad holder, use a Deflecto VersaGrip Magnetic Sign Holder. Take your time and pull the long metal pieces out and clip the clip to the magnetic base.

Glass magnets can be created using the magnetic craft sheets.

Nice and easy!!

Let's take another look:

So what do you think? Would you create a magnetic tray for your home or office? I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you were inspired here today.

Halloween Decorating with Deflecto!

We are ready for Halloween!

Hello! Rosie here and I am thrilled to be sharing my first DT project with Deflecto. I am so excited to be part of the team, and I hope to inspire you with these fantastic products.
While my boys are older now and no more trick-or-treating happens in our home anymore, we do love to welcome the kids in our neighborhood that come knocking on our door. This year we will have lots of candy ready for them and with the amazing products of Deflecto it will be even easier to prepare and be prepared for those Trick-Or-Treaters heading our way.

Here are the products I used from Deflecto:
You will see them displayed below.

I started decorating 3 Tier Dessert Stand as you can see in the picture below.
I added the black skirt and wrapped some garland around the top and bottom tiers of the stand.

I then added candy to all tiers and wa-la!!
With just I little more decoration around the tier and all the candy it holds is ready for
Halloween Day. I guess we will be eating candy until that day.

Here a few more pictures of my display.

Can you see the 3-Tier-Dessert-Stand?

I also used part of the paper cup as decoration on the two different sizes of mini holders.

Here is how the entrance looks.

At the very top of tier I also used another cup as decoration.
I used VersaGrip-Double-Clip-Sign-Holder to hold the cup.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
See you next time.

Fall Recipe Holder

I start thinking about fall baking as soon as the weather starts turning cool.
And… I’m always on the look-out for a good recipe.
To keep the recipe from getting lost once all the ingredients are out, I need a good recipe holder.

Here’s a easy project that I made using the Deflecto VersaGrip Magnetic Sign Holder.
(The recipe card holder would also make a cute name holder as well.)
For Fun…I added the “life is short…” saying into a 3″ x 4″ Mini Slanted Sign Holder.
(Both the recipe card and the saying is from the Authentique Bountiful Collection.)

To make my Recipe Holder…
I used a compressed sponge to apply ink directly onto the base and the white band of the
VersaGrip Magnetic Sign Holder. (StazOn Inkpads is a fast-drying permanent ink.)

I wrapped the wire center around a round paintbrush to add a little whimsy.

The VersaGrip Magnetic Sign Holder is magnetic so it also sticks onto your refrigerator.
Did you notice the magnet picture frame on the top right corner?
It was made by covering a Deflecto Magnetic Craft Sheet with scrapbook paper and cutting the frame shape out using a frame die cut.

Easy Peasy Changeable Halloween Banner

When it comes to the holidays, creating multiple mantel banners can seem tempting! But swapping them out can be challenging and tedious. So, by using Deflecto VersaGrip Double Clips, you can create a banner that is easily changeable for all the holidays coming up!

Love mantel banners but hate changing it up? This easy tutorial to create a switchable Halloween banners are perfect! #Halloween #decor #Halloweendecoration

Materials

Tutorial

Step 1:
Using your Cricut Maker and decorative paper, cut out a banner that says "HOCUS POCUS" using the font Halloween Too. Downloaded this from dafont.com.
I created a round banner and put each letter on its own banner and swapped out the colors so it went black, orange, black, orange.
Step 2:
Cut a piece of twine the length of your mantel, making sure it is rather tight.

Step 3:
Attach the banner using the Deflecto VersaGrip Double Clip. One side of the clip should go on the twine. The other holding the banner.

Step 4:

I love this idea because it is so easy to change the banner without having to remove all the twine and restring the mantel.
I also added some other fun decor to the mantel to make it festive for Halloween!

Halloween Table Ideas

Hi Everyone! I'm excited to be here not the Deflecto blog with some great party decorating ideas that are super easy. Deflecto items are the perfect finishing touch for a unique Halloween party! My name is Alexandra from Hedgehog Hollow, I'm normally a paper crafter, but I love to decorate cakes and host parties for my daughter's friends, so I had great fun creating these ideas for you!

The first idea is for a cupcake and candy bar at your party, let's take a look...

I love this so much that I actually left it up after the photos with a permanent candy bar for the season! I will adapt it to fall/Thanksgiving when into the holidays and winter themed, maybe even a cocoa bar! Stay tuned on the Hollow blog on how I change it up.

Then I thought I would show you some fun place setting ideas for a Halloween table using all the same excellent Deflecto products, Let's look at the overall effect...

First of all, I want to show you how useful these Deflecto VersaGrip Double Clip Sign Holders are and how they can be used on the Deflecto 3 Tier Dessert Stand.

These have ball joints on either end so you really can have them at any angle, I have found all sorts of uses for labeling sound the house for these, the best is in the girl's closets. However, back to the table, the mini slanted sign holders are great either way up, first of all, a more child-friendly setting...

This is a more adult and classic themed setting...

Now I want to show you these Flexible Sign Danglers, both have adhesive at either end, you could add balloons or other embellishments, but here I put the sign on one end and then bent it under the cupcake for this layer...

Finally, the cake stands as a whole in all its glory, the best part is the little holes around the outside to add cake pops or lollipops too! It's so versatile, plus you could decorate it for your occasion, perhaps a snowy scene, plus the levels can be closer together or further apart!

Thanks so much for joining me today, I can't wait to share some more ideas with you very soon!

Happy Crafting!
Alexandra

Toddler Sorting Bins

Hey y'all! It's Anita from The Flamingo Chronicals, and today I want to share a fun toddler game I made. We are all about toddler skills at both houses, and I think the princess is going to love this one! She absolutely loves to sort these colorful macaroni pieces I found at the Indian Market. I think it's the bright colors that attract her attention.

I started with three bins from the 9 Bin Carousel Rotating Organizer. I used the carousel as a desktop organizer (see it here), but I had 3 of the small bins left over. They are perfect for this little game!

I started by covering the bins with layers of fun patterned paper. Our princess has a propensity to pick at loose things. So I used some SUPER sticky double sided tape to cover the whole back of the papers. Double sided tape works beautifully for attaching items to these bins.

Layered felt flowers cut with Eileen Hull's die from Sizzix decorate the front of the bins. I used hot glue to attach the VersaGrip™ Magnetic Sign Sign Holder inside each bin. I also used hot glue to attach the macaroni pieces to the labels before inserting them in the sign holders.

I made several sets of die cut labels so I can change out the things we are sorting. I dressed up the label edges with ink and some faux stitching.

Golf Themed Birthday Party

Throw a Golf Themed Birthday Party for the golfer in your life with Deflecto!
We recently celebrated a milestone birthday for my husband, who is quite the avid golfer. He’s been playing golf since he was a kid and even caddied as a teen. It only seemed fitting that we celebrate with a Golf Themed Birthday Party.

I kept the menu simple with his favorite foods; fried chicken, pasta, sandwiches, chips and salad.
For fun… I used golf lingo to create little signs to label some of the food.
I used “free golf clipart” that I found online and customized each sign using a free photo editing site.

To clip the signs onto the serving dishes I used...

Of course… there was the Water Hole and a Arnold Palmer Station.

Make a signature Arnold Palmer drink of lemonade and iced tea.
I used a 4" x 6" clear acrylic craft frame for my "Arnold Palmer Station" sign.

I used a mini 3" x 4" sign holder for my "grab your club" sign.

I easily hung this large 5' golf banner on the wall using the sign & banner hangers.

I had so much fun planning this special “Par-Tee” for my husband. It was easy thanks to a little help from Deflecto Craft Solutions.
