A Decorative Alternative For The Family Refrigerator.

Hello, Sue here and this picture of me with my grandsons is one of my favorite photos. It’s been hanging around on the fridge for a couple of years now.
I decided to make a Framed Magnetic Memo Board that I can hang on the wall and swap out the photo’s in the magnetic frames whenever I feel like it.

I started with an old picture frame with the glass removed.
I adhered the Magnetic Craft Sheet from Deflecto using double sided adhesive on the frame backing with the black magnetic side up.

Next, I covered the black magnetic sheet with a “thin” piece of plaid scrapbook paper and inserted it back into the frame. (TIP: using thin paper is the key to the magnetic sheets sticking together)
To make frames: Cover magnetic sheets with scrapbook paper. Cut magnetic sheet with a craft knife and mat or use a wood die cut frame to cut out the frames.
You can also create small word magnets using scrapbook paper and the magnetic craft sheets.

Thin metal dies will not work to cut the magnetic sheets, but it would be a great way to store them!

Thankful Sign Holders

Hi, crafters! Monica here sharing a creative way to use Deflecto's Mini Slanted 3" x 4" Sign Holder. Each year as Thanksgiving approaches I try to come up with unique ways for my kids to express themselves. Since we all know after a certain age, it seems like they forget how to talk right... lol. So this year I took the mini frames, flipped them over and hung them almost like you would a stocking from your fireplace.

I simply added a piece of cardstock to the inside of the frame and then decorated the outside.

Once done then simply take your VersaGrip Wide Clip Sign Holders and clip it to the bottom of the Mini Frame.  I added a photo of my son and daughter and used words that I thought fit each kid the best.

Then I clipped a notepad onto each of them so that each day as we walk out or in we would see them and easily can take it off and write down something thankful. Then at the end of the month, we all sit and read what we wrote the entire month.

This is a super fun idea for the family. I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by.

Using Deflecto Mini Sign Holders to Create Cute Table Placement

Hello, everyone!! Kymona again with another super cute project for you to try this holiday season. I have a big family, and we love getting together. My parents have six children and seven grandkids, so we fill two to three tables easily!!

This year, we will have just a table for the little people in our lives. They love sitting together so that they can talk and eat with one another. So I thought it would be cool, to create table placement cards for them using the Mini Slanted Sign Holder 1½" x 2".

Take a look:

Supplies used:

2. Simple Stories Hello Fall Pattern Paper
3. Oval Punch
4. Photoshop/Microsoft Word
5. Dimensionals

I can't wait to see the little people in my family face's when they see their name on the set table. They will love it.

Creating these were simple! All I did was cut Simple Stories Hello Fall pattern paper down to size seven times. Then I used Photoshop to create the name tag for the Mini Slanted Sign Holder 1½" x 2". I then used an Oval Punch to cut out the names then adhered them to the pattern paper using a dimensional foam adhesive.

Take a closer look:

Sweet Table Decor Using Mini Frames

Hi, everyone! It's Anita, from The Flamingo Chronicals and today I have a fun project for your Thanksgiving table to share with you. Deflecto's Mini Slanted Sign Holder 1½" x 2" are the perfect size to use on your table to label foods, decorate a buffet, or use as place cards.
For my project today, I wanted something to show the super cute sweet cups I created - so the Mini Frames were just the ticket!

I layered patterned papers and cardstock, inking the edges as I went. The letters are Embroidered Iron On Letters, but they had just the texture I wanted for this project. I adhered them with regular craft glue.

Once I had everything together, I adhered the pieces to the front of the frames. There was so much dimension with the embellishments; it would have been hard to slide the pieces into the frames, gluing them on the front worked beautifully, though!

How To Create a Thankful Magnetic List

Hello, everyone!! Kymona here with another project for Thanksgiving!! This time around, I'm going to show you how to create a sign using the Magnetic Sheets.

For this project, I wanted to create a sign that my family could actively participate in creating. As they enter the kitchen, they will write down what they are thankful for. This would give everyone a chance to read what everyone is thankful for.

Take a look at my project:

Here is how I created these signs:

1. I gather all of the supplies I needed!

2. Then I cut the magnetic sheet down to size. I simple used my basic paper trimmer, and it cut with ease.

3. Then I added adhesive to the back of the paper and attached it to the magnetic sheet

Super easy to create. It takes less than 5 minutes to get both of these signs up on the fridge.

Totally magnetic, check it out:

When the holiday is over, I will add this list to my scrapbook and pull it out the following year to compare what we were all thankful for! It will be good to see if things change for us year to year.

What do you think? Would you give this a try? Please let me know below. If you have any questions, please leave them below as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired here today.

Customer Appreciation Table Spread

Hello everyone!!  Kymona here today to share a small customer appreciation table spread I set up for a friend of mine.  She runs a cute little restaurant, and she wanted a way to say thanks to her customers for their continued support.

Let's take a look:

My friend's customers are going to love this token of appreciation.  The table was set up buffet style so customers and take what they like and come back for seconds!

Let's take a closer look at what we have on this pretty table!

For this spread, I used Deflecto's 3 Tier Dessert Stand as the centerpiece.  I covered each tier with pattern paper for a warm feeling.

To achieve this look, I used each of the tier's as a base to cut the patterned paper.  I made sure to cut the slits in the center of the tiers as well so that the tiers could attach to the stand. I did not adhere the patterned paper to the tier's so that I could change the theme based on the event.

I also used Deflecto's Mini Sign Holders to hold the signage for each item on the table.

To achieve this look, I used the same pattern paper. Cut it down to 3 x 4, which is the same size as the sign holders. Then I used Photoshop to create the names. Using a scallop circle punch, I cut each name out. I adhered the names to the patterned paper using a glue dot.

The sign is being held up with Deflecto's VersaGrip Double-Clip Sign Holder

Let's take another look at the full spread:

So what do you think? Would you like to use any of these super easy tools on your event table?

Hello! Marilyn here today sharing my centerpiece I created with favors for our guests. Deflecto's 3 Tier Dessert Stand is easy to assemble and decorate! This one is for my Christmas celebrations and can be used again and again. Replace the party favors with cupcakes and cake pops! There are grooves that go around each plate to hold sucker sticks. You can decorate for any theme, any party!
The display is shipped flat and ready to be assembled. It can be taken apart and stored until the next event!

What you will need

Cardstock: White, Black, Red, Orange, Black and White Stripe
Acrylic Paint: Black, White
Stylus or Toothpick
Inkpads: Lt. Pink and Sky Blue
Wedge Sponges
12" Pine Stems: one package (2 to be safe)
12" Foil Stems: Green, Red, Silver
Adhesives: Hot Glue Gun, Tacky Glue
Scissors, Wire Cutters
Paper Trimmer
Electronic Die-cut Machine or Circle Punches
Computer and Printer for Signs

1. Cut the striped cardstock to fit in the mini sign holder. Type a name or description on the computer; print and cut out. Adhere to a slightly larger piece of red cardstock and trim a 1/8" border. Adhere to the front of the striped paper and insert into the frame.

2. Head: Punch or cut a 1-1/2" circle from white cardstock. Dog the eyes and mouth using a stylus or toothpick. Cut a carrot nose from orange cardstock and adhere to face as shown.

3. Hat: Punch or cut a 2" Circle. Fold the circle in two. Slightly fold up the brim of the hat in the front.

4. Adhere the top of the head to the inside of the hat. Cut a top for the hat from another black circle. Glue to the back of the hat, extending above the fold.
5. Legs: Make sure the adhesive side of one sign dangler is facing up so it can adhere to the bottom of the frame. With that in mind; accordion fold the dangler as shown. Repeat for the other leg. Cut two ovals for the feet. Cut a flat edge on one end of one oval. Repeat for the other. Remove the release paper and adhere the "shoes" to the legs. Arms: Slide a sign dangler up the back of the frame. Slightly bend the arms forward. Remove the release paper and adhere a mitten to each side.
6. Finish: Refer to the photo's given and embellish with pieces of foil stem, buttons and pine stem.

Cut a scarf from a patterned paper and adhere to the neck. Adjust the sizes according to the size of mini sign holder you will be using. Use these for place cards or food identifiers. Enjoy!

Family Carousel

Hi, crafters! Monica here with another Deflecto Crafts project using the 3 Tier Dessert Stand and VersaGrip™ Wide Clip Sign Holder. I wanted to really think outside the box on this one and create something super fun! So I ended up with a Family Carousel Stand that I made spin. I also adhered some lights under each tier!

I simply covered the stand with patterned paper from Graphic 45 and covered the photo holders that are from Globecraft & Piccolo and are called Bubble Globes.

Each tier can hold multiple photos, simply attach the VersaGrip™ Wide Clip Sign Holders to the base and even the tier edges as seen in the family photo above.

Aerial view - you can see where you can add knick-knacks that support the photos you are using. Then you could even tell a story with the carousel.

You can even add knick-knacks to the tier next to each of the photos. The possibilities are endless with this tier. I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by!!
